Deion Calhoun Enters 2018 Looking For Another Big Year at Right Guard

After being a consistent force for Mississippi State football in 2017, Deion Calhoun should be able to help lead the Bulldogs’ front in 2018. Calhoun provides consistency as he has started more games than anyone else on Mississippi State’s offensive line.

That experience will be incredibly valuable for the Bulldogs. Though Calhoun isn’t having to help a new lineman ease in on his side of the line, Stewart Reese, MSU’s right tackle, is now entering his second year of starting.

With Calhoun solidifying the interior of the line, and Reese easing in to the right of him, Mississippi State shouldn’t have to worry too often about pass rushers breaking through here. On top of that, Calhoun is 6-4 and 320 pounds, he should be able to clear enough running lanes for Aeris Williams, Kylin Hill, and Nick Fitzgerald this year.
