At Least Four Wide Receivers Will Catch A Touchdown

Joe Moorhead has been utilizing quite a few wide receivers during spring practices. And the Bulldogs are certainly looking for someone to step up and prove to be a reliable option out wide. Well, it’s possible that Joe Moorhead won’t know who his number one receiver is at that moment.

Why?

If I had to guess, several Mississippi State receivers will grab a touchdown.

Jesse Jackson, Jamal Couch, Osirus Mitchell, Devonta Jason, Austin Williams, Keith Mixon, Reggie Todd, Stephen Guidry, Malik Dear, and Reggie Todd make up a pretty good group of wide receivers. It shouldn’t surprise anyone if these guys perform well in the spring game.

With as many options as Keytaon Thompson will have, it should almost be expected that the ball will be spread around during the spring. Mississippi State is still trying to get everything sorted here.

The biggest reasons why this may not happen are if someone at tight end or running back gets a few receptions and catches a touchdown or two.
