The Road to a Championship Starts in Starkville

Mississippi State has a pretty great athletic department. And that athletic department has a pretty great group of videographers. As it turns out, those videographers are really good at creating video content.

The Mississippi State women’s basketball team is getting set to be the top seeded team in the Kansas City Region. As part of that, the Bulldogs will get to host the first couple of rounds this weekend in Starkville.

That means, Mississippi State’s start at a championship run will be in Starkville. If the Mississippi State Bulldogs want to win it all, they get to do so by starting things off at home. The Hump has been an incredible boon for MSU in the past. It’ll certainly serve as one again.

Mississippi State is getting set to make a championship run. That means we need to get ready to watch and support them. As it turns out, there’s no better way to get ready to watch Mississippi State in March Madness than with a video created by Hail State Productions.

The video shows the highs, and lows, of last season. And it shows that the Bulldogs want more than what they came away with last year. Mississippi State made history a year ago by beating UConn and by going to the national title game. But MSU has higher goals than being the national runner up. This video encapsulates that perfectly.

MSU will get their first game of the tournament against Nicholls State at 5 pm central time this Saturday. That game will come right after Oklahoma State and Syracuse duel things out at 2:30 on Saturday. Should Vic Schaefer and MSU come out ahead of Nicholls State (and they should), Mississippi State will play the winner of Oklahoma State and Syracuse. That game will also be here in Starkville.
