MIAMI, FL - JULY 11: Bryce Harper

Dak Prescott has made a huge name for himself after a historically great rookie season. MLB star Bryce Harper brought him up during the MLB All-Star game.

Mississippi State legend Dak Prescott is becoming one of the hottest names in all of sports. The Dallas Cowboys rookie quarterback put together the greatest rookie season by a quarterback in NFL history.

That, combined with playing for the sport’s biggest and most recognizable brand, has turned Dak Prescott into a household name after just one professional season.

Just how big of a star is Dak? Well, big enough to the point where one of the best baseball players in the world brought him up. Yes, Bryce Harper discussed the former Mississippi State signal caller with FOX commentator Joe Buck during the MLB All Star Game. An event that has nothing to do with the Dallas Cowboys’ star.

Here is what Harper and Buck discussed during play:

During the All Star game, Joe Buck talked with Washington Nationals star outfielder Bryce Harper. Harper said “I feel like I’m commentating like NFL Network with you right now.” He went on to say:

"“Speaking of, how do you think Dak is going to be this year?” Harper asked. Buck responded, “I have not met a more impressive young player coming into the NFL in the time that I have covered it.”Harper continued: He’s fun to watch. I mean, watching him on Sundays and Mondays, Thursdays. That guy — him and Zeke, I mean, unbelievable. A lot of fun to watch.”"

While running off of the field, Harper even said, “when he was at Mississippi State, he was great to watch.” The longer clip that mentions the last part can be watched here:

Naturally, Dak Prescott had to respond:

Two of the youngest and biggest stars in their respective sports giving credit where credit is due. The 2015 NL MVP shouting out the 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year during one of MLB’s biggest events. How about that for some free publicity for Mississippi State?
