The offseason never slows down for Mississippi State athletics. The Bulldogs landed two commitments yesterday, a defensive back has reportedly transferred, and we continue the All-Mullen series!

Mississippi State defensive back Chris Stamps will play for NWCC this fall.
Mississippi State lost a member of its secondary today. Chris Stamps, a three-star defensive back in the 2015 signing class, will reportedly transfer from the Bulldogs program.
With Todd Grantham now in charge of the defense, the Bulldogs will undergo changes on that side of the football. Transfers Brian Cole and Johnathan Abram and redshirt freshman Cam Danztler stood out in the defensive backfield during the Maroon and White game. Jamal Peters and Brandon Bryant will be expected to lead the secondary in 2017.

Mississippi State landed two commitments on Maroon Friday.
Speaking of defensive backs, the Bulldogs added two 2018 prospects to their secondary yesterday. Louisiana DB Shawn Preston and Georgia DB Tyrese Ross both pledged to Mullen and company on Friday.
