– Starkville Running Back Bouncing Back from Injuries – Robbie Faulk, Bulldawgs247

Robbie Faulk writes on Starkville High School running back Rodrigues Clark and his mentality to come back even stronger after suffering multiple leg injuries. Great article by Robbie:

"The Starkville High running back is coming off not one, but two serious leg injuries including a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee in the middle of last season. The first injury came towards the end of his freshman year in high school when he was close to finishing out with the high school team in their run to the state championship.Last year Clark had become the team’s bell cow as a sophomore in his first year of high school ball. He rushed 88 times for 450 yards and five touchdowns before going down with injury.Despite back-to-back heartbreaking injuries, he’s continued to come back stronger. This summer he’s producing again."

– Mississippi State Football: Keytaon Thompson Will Continue Trend of Elite QB Play – Cole Patterson, Maroon and White Nation

The MWN team will begin taking a look at each recruit that signed in Mississippi State’s 2017 recruiting class. Earlier today, I wrote on Mississippi State’s prized quarterback signee: Keytaon Thompson:

"Thompson’s junior season, the season before he gave his commitment to the Bulldogs, was simply elite. The NOLA native totaled 2,006 yards through the air, 754 more with his feet, and found the end zone a combined 40 times. His senior campaign was even better. The 4-star quarterback threw for 3,924 yards and 46 touchdowns. On the ground, Thompson burned defenses for 1,429 yards and another 26 scores. The Mississippi State signee recorded a combined 5,353 yards and 72 touchdowns over the course of his final high school season.(*Stats per 247Sports)"
