The former Mississippi State superstar continues his rise in celebrity status, as Dak Prescott inks deal with New Era caps.

Another day, another endorsement deal for Dak Prescott.

The best player in Mississippi State history and the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year has signed an endorsement deal with New Era caps, the official on-field cap of the National Football League. Since becoming the starting quarterback of America’s Team, Dak Prescott has signed deals with Beats by Dre, Campbell’s Chunky Soup, Pepsi, and Frito-Lays.

Dak joins NFL stars Le’Veon Bell and Khalil Mack, Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen, and fellow second-year player Sterling Shepard with his New Era deal.

The company is elated to add the Pro Bowl quarterback to their brand. Ryan DiNunzio, per SGB Media, says he is excited to have the quarterback of America’s Team as a New Era ambassador:

"“We are thrilled to announce Dak as our latest brand ambassador,” said Ryan DiNunzio, director of football, New Era Cap. “Getting an athlete who plays the marquee position on one of the League’s most illustrious franchises is tremendous for the brand. Not only does his play on the field speak volumes, but Dak also encompasses the lifestyle aspect off the gridiron, which New Era is all about.”"

Dak Prescott was a fourth-round selection of last year’s draft, but obviously way outplayed his draft value. As Patrick Star of Cowboys247 points out, he was rewarded for his play on the field during his magnificent season.

"So yes, Prescott’s base salary for 2017 is only a measly $540,000, but he’s making it rain outside of that. On the heels of taking home 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors, Prescott was blessed by the NFL for outperforming his contract with his play and availability — to the tune of $353,544.57 this past March."

The endorsement deals help out, too. It will definitely be exciting to see Dak continue his rise to stardom!
