Dak Prescott’s story to be featured on ESPN’s E:60

Dak Prescott’s relationship with his mom has been heard by people all over the country. On Mother’s Day, ESPN will tell his story to its audience on an E:60 Special.

Every Mississippi State knows the story of Rayne Dakota Prescott and his relationship with his mother, Peggy.

Peggy Prescott instilled a sense of work ethic and high character into Dak and her two other sons, Tad and Jace. Whether it was giving her all each and every day, or critiquing Dak after he threw an interception, Peggy played an inspirational and important role in Dak Prescott’s life.

During his redshirt-sophomore season for the Bulldogs, Prescott took advantage of a Tyler Russell injury in the first game of the year to become Mississippi State‘s starting quarterback and emotional leader on and off the field. But, after a loss to South Carolina, Prescott learned about his mother’s death. The woman who molded him into the man he has become lost a battle to colon cancer in 2013.

In honor of Mother’s Day, Jeremy Schaap and the E:60 crew will dive into Dak’s story and tell the world about the 2016 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year’s story. Start your morning by watching an exclusive look at Dak Prescott’s background, including his brothers and what his mother was like when she was cheering on Mississippi State’s former star signal caller from the stands.

The profile on Dak is expected to tell about his relationship with his mother and about his journey from his days in Haughton, Louisiana to setting records at Mississippi State to winning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors for the Dallas Cowboys. E:60 gave us an inside look of what to expect in their feature that will air on ESPN:
