Week 8 of the NFL season saw many Mississippi State Bulldogs show the nation how good they are. From Dallas to Kansas City, the Bulldogs are everywhere.

With the NFL in full swing, it’s a good chance to see exactly how former Mississippi State Bulldogs have performed over the season. We have had players break records, set trends, and turn into the spotlight of America. Of course, we have also had others become the object of scrutiny. But let’s be honest, it wouldn’t be an NFL season without a little bit of controversy, right?

In trade news, former Bulldog standout Johnthan Banks has been traded to the Lions. Guess who else belongs to the Detroit franchise? That’s right, his old buddy Darius “Big Play” Slay. Precinct 913 is back, Mississippi State fans. The NFL better get used to these two on the field together, because they were absolutely lights out their senior year together in Starkville. If they can ignite that magic again, the Lions will be happy.

Looking elsewhere, the Bulldogs have made some standout performances. Chris Jones finally got his first NFL sack this week for the Chiefs. It’s his first, and more than likely not his last. Enjoy it, Chiefs fans.
