It’s time for SEC power rankings which reflect actual games!
The first week of the 2016 is officially in the books and I, for one, am glad to have it back. What a great way to spend Labor Day weekend with football on the tube from Thursday through Monday. We had exciting games and shocking upsets (I’m looking at you Mississippi State). Highly ranked teams lost and mostly unknown players became household names overnight.
As far as the SEC, it was a very medicore weekend. The conference combined to go 7-7 in week one with only one conference game on the slate. For the sake of these power rankings, I am not going to consider my preseason rankings. This is a ranking of the SEC teams based on what we saw in the first games and whether or not I believe that represents who each team is.
There you have the SEC Power Rankings headed into week 2. Bring on the football.
