By now we all know the off field story of Jeffery Simmons. Regardless of how you feel about how MSU has handled this situation, Simmons will play for the Bulldogs in 2016.

Simmons is arguably the biggest recruit of the Dan Mullen era but how much of the field will he actually see? Mississippi State has good depth at defensive end but with five star talent Simmons could earn his  way to the top of the  depth chart. I would expect Simmons to play at least situational and possibly become a starter opposite AJ Jefferson. He could be a difference maker for Peter Sirmon’s defense.
