Leo Lewis was Mississippi State’s prize signee in 2015. He was ranked as the nation’s number one inside linebacker and 43rd prospect overall. Like Jung, Lewis has a great combination of speed and size.

It is possible that Lewis is the replacement for Richie Brown at middle linebacker which means we could be a year away from him bursting onto the scene. But it’s also possible that it becomes impossible to keep Leo’s abilities off the field and he becomes the starter at weakside linebacker. In order to do that Lewis would have to beat out Gerri Green who was on the All-SEC freshman team last year. Starter or not, I predict we hear the name Leo Lewis a ton during MSU games this season.
