SEC West Predictions

The Mississippi State football team has only finished last in the SEC West once since Dan Mullen took over the program. This hasn’t kept most media personalities from picking the Bulldogs to finish in the cellar in the SEC West most years.

Expect more of the same for 2016, though ESPN did surprise me when they picked the Bulldogs to finish ahead of Auburn and Arkansas. But this won’t be the norm.

The Bulldogs might not get picked to finish last by everyone, but they will be picked toward the bottom in most circumstances. The doubt most people have in their heads is losing Dak Prescott is going to be too much of a hill for the Bulldogs to climb.
