For the first time in school history, the Mississippi State Bulldogs will enter the 2016 Starkville Baseball Regional as a national seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs’ road to Omaha begins at home this weekend, but what will Mother Nature have in store.
Well that’s certainly why we’re here, isn’t it? To answer the question of whether or not the mean ol’ Mother Nature will ruin the weekend plans. All throughout the course of the week, we have been hearing about how weather could significantly impact the 2016 Starkville Baseball Regional. But it’s finally time to put those rumors to rest, and to answer your burning questions about the weather.
I know a lot of you will be slightly disappointed with the outcome of this forecast, but that’s okay. I understand your need to hate on it. But don’t shoot the messenger here, I’m just trying to make your trip to Starkville a bit easier. I’ll only be doing through Sunday, because I have confidence that we will be able to finish out the Regional this weekend. Also of note, the baseball stadium will be cleared between games. So plan accordingly to accommodate what you need.
