It is the annual event at Super Bulldog Weekend that I have never been able to understand. The Spring Football Game, where the Bulldogs play the Bulldogs.

This event is often the marquee attraction for Super Bulldog Weekend, but I’ve never really understood why people want to watch a scrimmage game where we play ourselves. To each his own I guess.

There is a bit of added intrigue with this year’s game though. Dan Mullen and company are on a quest to find the replacement for an iconic figure. This will be the first time we get a real sense of which quarterback has the edge to replace Dak Prescott.
