Super Bulldog Weekend will take place from Friday through Sunday and here is some advice on how to prioritize your time with everything going on.

One of the best things the Mississippi State Athletic Department does each year is Super Bulldog Weekend. There is always a ton of things going on throughout the weekend on campus, so everyone who attends is sure to find something they enjoy.

The two events that get the most attention are the Spring Football Game (aka the Maroon and White Game) and the baseball series. This year, the Bulldogs will be taking on Texas A&M at Dudy Noble Field.

But there are plenty of other things to do as well. And while most of the weekend revolves around sports, there are other activities as well. If you don’t know the schedule, here is everything planned from the school’s official website.

– Friday, April 15

8:00 a.m.: Pig Cooking Begins (parking lot north of Howell Building)

4:00 p.m.: Pig Cooking – Mississippi Pork Producers Sampling of the Grill (parking lot north of Howell Building)

5:00 p.m.: Men’s Tennis vs. Vanderbilt (A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre)

5:30 p.m.: Softball vs. LSU (Nusz Park)

6:30 p.m.: Baseball vs. Texas A&M (Dudy Noble Field/Polk-DeMent Stadium)

7:00 p.m.: Soccer Scrimmage (MSU Soccer Field)

– Saturday, April 16

8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Cotton District Arts Festival

9:00 a.m. – Noon: Pig Cooking Judging (parking lot north of Howell Building)

11:00 a.m.: Pig Cooking – Mississippi Pork Producers Sampling of the Grill (parking lot north of Howell Building)

11:00 a.m.: Maroon/White Spring Football Game (Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field)

2:00 p.m.: Baseball vs. Texas A&M (Dudy Noble Field/Polk-DeMent Stadium)

7:00 p.m.: Softball vs. LSU (Nusz Park)

– Sunday, April 17

1:30 p.m.: Baseball vs. Texas A&M (Dudy Noble Field/Polk-DeMent Stadium)

3:30 p.m.: Softball vs. LSU (Nusz Park)

With all of this taking place in one weekend, and there is some obvious overlap, what should you attend? Here is the priority I would give everything if I were going to be there for the entire weekend. I am going to be there on Saturday, but that’s the only day. Everyone else who plans to be there needs to use their time wisely.
