If you have ever wanted a selfie with a camel, then Mississippi State Baseball is there for you this Wednesday when they take on the University of Memphis.

Getting patrons to show up for weekend games is never a problem. People make special plans to come to the game, and there is always a special atmosphere for those games. And when your fans enjoy baseball as much as Mississippi State baseball fans do, then you’ll always have nice crowds to watch your games on the weekend.

Midweek games are a different animal. Finding ways to get people to come out and see a game against a team the Bulldogs should be able to beat isn’t that simple.

That’s right. If you have ever wanted a selfie with a camel, the Mississippi State Baseball team is going to have one on the premises this Wednesday to fulfill your lifelong dreams!

Is it a good idea? I’ll let you decide that on your own. I will say this though. Getting people to come out to games is not always easy when the games are in the middle of the week, so there are no bad ideas. I’ll give the marketing department credit for being creative.
