Mississippi State Football: Predicting the Breakout Stars of the Spring
Running Back Nick Gibson
I’m of the opinion that Aeris Williams will live up to his billing as one of the best running backs in the country coming out of high school in 2014. But he’ll need a backup and the guy I think who backs him up could be just as dangerous as he is in 2016.
Nick Gibson was a highly rated player coming out of high school, and look for him to make an impression on the coaching staff this spring when the Mississippi State football coaching staff begins to evaluate their running backs. He has more natural ability than every running back on the team outside of Aeris Williams.
If you watched the highlight reel above, you’ll see Gibson has the potential to make a big play every time he touches the football. He could be a possible X-factor to consider keeping an eye on this spring.
