Who will emerge as one of the best playmakers on the team this Spring for the Mississippi State Football Team?

With Spring practice in full gear for the third day starting today, we all want to know if there will be a player who emerges from the shadows. Who will stand out and be the next face of the Mississippi State football team?

I’ve compiled a list of some potential candidates to do so for the Bulldogs in 2016. There is a lot of talent returning to the Mississippi State football team in 2016, but there are also some key holes the Bulldogs need to replace.

This is where we find most of our candidates to break out this Spring. There are the obvious holes to fill out in the secondary with the departures of Redmond, Calhoun, and Market. The linebackers also need to see a player step up with Beniquez Brown headed to the NFL. Then you have the departure of Chris Jones leaving a large hole, both literally and figuratively, on the defensive line for the Mississippi State football team.

On offense, one of the running backs must step up and be a force to reckoned with. And De’Runnya Wilson was a constant threat to score in the red zone for the Mississippi State football team.

The biggest hole to be filled will be that of Dak Prescott. You’ll notice I have not included a any of the four quarterbacks on the roster on this list. I firmly believe Dan Mullen is going to do his best to have all four equally showcased so no one gets any idea on how he plans to approach the position.

This list is in no particular order. These are just the players I believe we will hear a lot about this spring.
