Nathaniel Lowe

Nathaniel Lowe has big shoes to fill both figuratively and literally for the Mississippi State baseball team. He was brought in from St. John’s River Junior college in Florida to replace Wes Rea.

Wes Rea was a four year starter for the Bulldogs, and made a tremendous impact on the field and in the dugout for the Mississippi State baseball team. His presence will not be easily replaced.

But if Lowe can showcase the hitting prowess and homerun power he showcased at the JUCO level, then fans will quickly gravitate toward the highly touted JUCO prospect. Coach John Cohen needs a big stick in the lineup in 2016, and Lowe could be the answer to Coach Cohen’s prayers.
