#14 Paul Maholm, Baseball Pitcher (2001-2003)

Paul Maholm had a very productive career for the Mississippi State Bulldogs Baseball Team. He was one of the best pitchers in the SEC in his three year career with the Bulldogs. In 2002, Maholm was the only Bulldog selected to the All-SEC Team where he was on the Second Team. He followed that up in 2003 with a selection to the First Team All-SEC. Also in 2003, Maholm was named to the prestigious First Team ABCA All-Region Team. After the completion of his junior season with Mississippi State, Maholm was selected with the 8th overall pick in the Amateur Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He had a 10 year career in Major League Baseball and last pitched for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
