#50 Courtney Bures, Softball IF (2005-2008)

The first player comes from the Softball team. Courtney got off to a fast start when she made her debut on the softball team in 2005. She batted .388 in her freshman season and hit 17 homeruns and had 54 RBIs. Her accomplishments in 2005 earned her the honor of being named the SEC Freshman of the Year and a 2005 NFCA First Team All American She had some good years that followed, but her freshman year was easily her best. Courtney did earn All American status again in 2008 in her senior season with a .398 batting average and 46 RBIs. Courtney is the school leader in career RBIs, sacrifice flies, and assists. She was named to the All-SEC First Team in 2005, 2007, and 2008.
