#34 Eric DuBose, Baseball Pitcher (1995-1997)

Eric Dubose was a heralded left hander from the state of Alabama when he came to Mississippi State. He quickly became the team ace during his sophomore season, and was one of the toughest pitchers in the nation to hit. In 1997, he helped propel the Bulldogs to the College World Series he set the school’s single season strike out record in that season. The 428 strikeouts he recorded in his four seasons as a Bulldog are still the most in Mississippi State history. DuBose was name d to the All-SEC Team in 1996 and 1997. After his junior season, the Baltimore Orioles selected him in the first round of the Amateur Baseball Draft.
