#25: 1994 – Mississippi State 72 vs. Arkansas 71

In 1994, Arkansas won the national title. They were #1 for nine weeks during the season. They only had three losses, but one of them was to Mississippi State.

When the Hogs came to the Hump in January of ’94, they were ranked #3 in the country. The Bulldogs were starting to heat up with a 10-2 record having won five straight games. On a Wednesday night, they upset Arkansas by a point.

The 1994 team would go on to have a decent season with an 18-11 record and go to the NIT. It was the start of a much better run during the 1995 and 1996 seasons under Richard Williams.
