This was MSU’s first ever win in the NCAA Tournament. And it came against a future NBA superstar: Steve Nash.
Since this game the Bulldogs have gone on to notch another nine NCAA Tourney wins, but they had to get off the snide sometime and this was it.
After winning this game, the Bulldogs went on to advance to the Sweet 16 before losing to UCLA.
