Tight End: Reggie Kelly

Reggie Kelly will not wow you with his reception or touchdown numbers. Kelly was a big tight end who could provide the blocking the Bulldogs needed to pound the ball on the ground.

Led by the offensive line and Reggie Kelly’s blocking, J.J. Johnson had one of the best seasons for any Mississippi State running back. Johnson’s 1,381 rushing yards for the season is the second most for any Mississippi State running back. Kelly was a big reason why.

Kelly was drafted in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft in 1999 by the Atlanta Falcons. He played for 12 seasons with the Falcons and Bengals before retiring after the 2011 season.
