One of the best perks for the Bulldogs being selected to go to the Belk Bowl is Mississippi State fans can follow the Belk Bowl’s awesome Twitter account.
Mississippi State learned their bowl destination like the rest of the SEC. The Bulldogs get to head to the Queen City to participate in the Belk Bowl against the N.C. State Wolfpack.
As I usually do when the announcement about Mississippi State’s bowl destination becomes official, I follow the Twitter account of the bowl to stay up to date on many things related to the game itself, Little did I know that I was following a Twitter account that actually attempted to have fun on Twitter instead of just tweet out boring stuff about the game and city all day long.

The ACC team for the Belk Bowl was announced early, but Mississippi State wasn’t official until much later in the day.
The SEC team will be announced tonight at 6 pm EST.

Not everything the account tweets out is great. You’re going to miss some when you try to be entertaining on Twitter. But I am happy to be following an account for a bowl that likes to have fun. It’s a nice change.
