Gus Malzahn

Average Recruiting Ranking in the SEC: 3rd
Winning Percentage: 5th
Hard Working Rating: -2

Malzahn got off to a red hot start when he arrived on the Plains in 2013. Since then, it has been much tougher sledding.

The Tigers went 12-2 that first year under Malzahn and played for the national championship. But in 2014 and 2015, the Tigers have been much more average. In 2014 and 2015, the Tigers are only 13- 9. It’s not bad, but it is an enormous drop off from 12-2.

Will things get better in 2016? Who knows. They haven’t played well with Jeremy Johnson at quarterback, but they haven’t played well with Sean White at quarterback. So there are lots of questions to be answered at Auburn.
