Gary Pinkel

Average Recruiting Ranking in the SEC: 11th
Winning Percentage: 6th
Hard Working Rating: +5

Missouri gets trashed a lot for not really having an SEC profile. They are up in a state that doesn’t really identify with the SEC, and they have a fan base that doesn’t follow the team as rabidly as other SEC schools.

But Gary Pinkel has won at a near elite SEC level since Missouri joined the SEC and recruited toward the bottom of the conference every single year. Only won team ha recruited at a lower level than Missouri the past four years.

But that hasn’t kept Pinkel from winning. The Tigers have won two Eastern Division Championships and have doen far more with far less than just about every other coach in the SEC.
