Kevin Sumlin

Average Recruiting Ranking in the SEC: 5th
Winning Percentage: 4th
Hard Working Rating: +1

Kevin Sumlin has taken a lot of criticism for not getting his team to play at the level they should because he recruits so well. And yet, they are performing at a rate slightly higher than what they have recruited at.

Some of this though relates to the 2011 recruiting class. In the SEC, the Texas A&M class as rated 10th best. Ever since Sumlin took over the recruiting, they haven’t done any worse than 6th in the conference.

If he continues to recruit at the level he has, and the Aggies continue to underfperform, you’ll soon start to see this rating change for him.
