Podcast: Bulldogs Win Rain-Soaked Affair Over Missouri

facebooktwitterreddit

For the 1st half of Thursday night’s game, the rains fell in sheets and caused the Bulldogs some sloppy play and only a single point advantage. But a strong 17-0 3rd quarter led Mississippi State to a 31-13 victory over Missouri. The win now sets up a huge showdown with #4 Alabama next Saturday in Starkville. Listen as Ryan and Wesley give you instant reaction to Thursday night’s contest.

Dak Prescott continues to play like the best player in the SEC with another 4 passing touchdowns and 350 total yards. While the stat sheet does not reflect it as much as it should, Chris Jones had a monster game and showed the type of player we know he can be and how he will need to play to close out the season. Overall, it went how you might have expected. It’s a SEC road win, which should always be cherished, and the Bulldogs continue to improve each time they take the field. Davis Wade Stadium will be rocking next Saturday and I already can’t wait for kickoff.
