Donald Gray
Donald Gray did not make much of an impact on the season until the third game of the year against Northwestern State. He had a huge game against the Demons, and I had hoped it was a sign the coaching staff was ready to incorporate him more into the offense.
It wasn’t meant to be, though, as Gray didn’t receive any real significant playing time against Auburn or Texas A&M. This trend started to reverse course in the three games that followed.
Gray had two catches against Troy, one against Louisiana Tech, and he had the most receptions all season against Kentucky. Someone commented during the Kentucky game that Gray seems to just catch everything thrown his way. The Bulldogs need to find ways to get the ball in his direction because he is shown in the limited time he has had an opportunity he can come up big for the team.
