Oct 17, 2015; Starkville, MS, USA; Louisiana Tech Bulldogs safety Xavier Woods (7) tackles Mississippi State Bulldogs wide receiver De

De’Runnya Wilson

De’Runnya Wilson has had a nice season for the Bulldogs. He is averaging just over four receptions per game, leads the Bulldogs in receiving yards, and he leads in receiving touchdowns.

But it hasn’t quite been the breakthrough season many thought it would be. Much of this is because of two factors. One is simply the defenses have been keying on him more this year, and the other is the emergence of Fred Ross.

The one carry over from a season ago is when Dak Prescott needs to make a tough throw in traffic, he looks to Wilson. Wilson has caught 6 of Prescott’s 14 touchdowns this season.

The Bulldogs need Wilson to continue to be a force. There have been a few drops this year, and if he can play a slightly cleaner game and up his production even remotely, the Bulldogs could have a November to remember.
