Richie Brown is Stepping Up

The Bulldogs needed players to step up with the departure of Benardrick McKinney and Preston Smith. Richie Brown has done exactly that.

He’s done a little bit of everything for the Bulldogs. He leads the team in tackles by a wide margin. Brown has 39 tackles, and the next closest player is A.J. Jefferson with 23. Brown also has 4.5 tackles for loss and 3 sacks. And to top it off, he even has an interception.

Against Auburn, he had 13 tackles and was all over the field. Richie Brown was chasing the ball down at every opportunity

Richie Brown has emerged as one of the leaders of the defense. It’s a defense that is doing something we all should have known they were going to do before the season started.
