Dak Prescott is Becoming an NFL Quarterback

I am no draft expert, but the performance Dak Prescott has displayed on the field has to make NFL scouts think more highly of the Mississippi State quarterback. The Bulldogs are relying on Prescott to beat teams with his arm, and so far, he is doing it.

The biggest knock on Prescott entering the 2015 season was he felt more comfortable making plays with his legs and not his arm. There has been a significant change in the  way Prescott approaches each play in the first 1/3 of the season.

Prescott has also turned the ball over in crucial times in he past. So far, he has yet to throw an interception and has taken care of the ball. He is putting the Bulldogs in a position to succeed.

Prescott is using his mobility not to find ways to run. Instead, he is using his mobility and talent to create time so he can find receivers open down field.

Fans continue to bemoan the fact Prescott is not running, but right now, that part of the Mississippi State offense isn’t working. Prescott completed almost 75% of his passes against Auburn. And if he continues to progress at this pace, Dak Prescott will likely have his name called earlier in the draft than he would have last seasons.
