Will Redmond

Will Redmond is out to prove the Mississippi State pass defense is remarkably better than it was a year ago. So far, he is helping prove that point.

Sean White did complete 20 of 28 passes, but the Tigers simply couldn’t move the ball down the field. Those 28 pass attempts only went for 188 yards.

Redmond made one of the most important plays of the game. On the opening possession, White was building confidence and leading the Tigers down the field. He was then flushed out of the pocket, and threw the ball over the middle of the field right into the waiting arms of Redmond.

He also did a good job keeping star receiver Williams in check. Williams did a fantastic job in covering all night long.
