Dak Prescott is the best Mississippi State has ever had

Okay, so maybe we didn’t learn that from this game, but Prescott continued to cement his name on even more of the Mississippi State record book. He needed 182 passing yards entering the game to become the school’s all time leader in passing yards.

Dak Prescott got that pretty comfortably in this game. He completed 10 of 11 pass attempts for 227 yards, and two touchdowns. This was all done in the first half as well.

And for all those who were wondering if Dak Prescott was still a running threat, yes he is. Prescott had 6 rushes for 54 yards. He’s around 250 yards from breaking John Bond’s record for most rushing yards by a quarterback for Mississippi State. He should be able to surpass that mark in just a few more games.

One day, we’re going to look back and remember just how special of a player we had at our school. I’m hoping we truly appreciate all he has done as a player.
