One of the keys to this game was getting the running game working again. Ashton Shumpert was the guy a lot of MSU fans were questioning. He wasn’t able to get 100 yards but he did have 55 on nine carries and got in the endzone once.

Aeries Williams and Dontavian Lee saw a lot more action in this game. And Malik Dear got one carry for a nice 19 yard gain.
