This was the only picture from the game of the defense. I guess the D just doesn’t get the attention in games like this.

Overall, I thought MSU’s defense played pretty well in this game. I saw a few fans get upset with their performance because it wasn’t a shut out and NW State got in the red zone a hand full of times. Good grief people. It was a revolving door of players in the game and teams, even FCS ones, can move the ball from time to time.

Overall this year Manny Diaz’ crew have given up 50 points. That’s 16.6 points per game. Not a bad start to the year. Hopefully they’ll keep Jeremy Johnson doing what he’s been doing this year, and pick up some interceptions along the way.
