Bold Mississippi State Prediction #5: Mississippi State will win no less than 8 games in 2015
Personally, I don’t see this as a very bold prediction. But it must be because no one outside of Starkville seems to believe winning more than seven games is feasible for the Bulldogs.
With four nonconference games the Bulldogs should win easily (though I suspect one will make us scratch our heads and give us more anxiety than it should), they have to find a way to win four in the SEC.
The home schedule isn’t easy. Mississippi State will be favored against Kentucky, and should win that one. And between LSU, Alabama, and Ole Miss, I truly expect the Bulldogs to win one of those games. Starkville is a much more difficult place to play with the expansion to Davis Wade Stadium. one of those three, if not more is going home with a loss.
On the road, I really like the Bulldogs’ chances in College Station and Columbia. I think they can win in Auburn and Arkansas, but the odds are less likely.
