Players included:

• Fletcher Cox: Defensive Tackle
• Jimmy Webb: Defensive Tackle
• Tyrone Keys: Defensive End
• Billy Jackson: Defensive End

This list must have been pretty spot on. There was only one name I recall being mentioned when I posted this and that was Avery Hannibal. And if that was the only name that anyone could think of that I left off, I’ll just pat myself on the back.

The only thing that still confuses me about the linebacker group is just how in the world Billy Jackson didn’t make it to the NFL. He was a monster at State.

The last thing I’ll say about this group is there is a very good chance I left off some great players. Sacks have not always been a recorded stat, and so if there were some players who just tore up the opposing quarterback, I might not have found them because those records weren’t always kept.

Enough for the defense, now we move to the offense.
