Football season is getting closer and closer. If you’re at this site, then the college game is probably your preference when it comes to football.

Maybe you care about the NFL, maybe you don’t. If you haven’t paid attention to the professional players in a while, perhaps you want to start again. But who should you pull for?

Many fanatics of the college game will often choose their favorite team based off of the players who played for their favorite college team. And if you’re a Mississippi State fan, then you have a decent number of players to choose from to pick your favorite team.

As a matter of fact, there are a total of 25 former Bulldogs currently on 21 different NFL rosters. Each one has had varying degrees of success. These lists will not include players on practice squads. It will only cover the players on active rosters. Please note, this lost was compiled before the start of any preseason games, so it is very possible that some of these players will not be on the roster when the 2015 NFL regular season begins.

We start with the AFC, and we will go from East to West. In the AFC West, there are five players who used to wear the Maroon and White listed on active NFL rosters. This is the most of any division in the NFL. Two of those players are on the same team. And those two players are on one of the worst run franchises in the league, which also happens to be my favorite team. Sigh.
