Dawgstudent, Stephen Agostinelli, started the popular message board for his “six pack” of friends who were kicked off Gene’s Page in the early 2000s. The free message board continued to grow, becoming easily the largest fan-driven sports message board in the state of Mississippi.

Dawgstudent is known affectionately as “the Godfather” due to his avatar on the site. He is still alive a kicking on SPS – even just today posting about how Hugh Freeze is tweeting at anyone who mentions his name.
