Cam Lawrence

Lawrence had the unenviable task of replacing a 4th round NFL Draft pick in 2011, but he did so in spectacular fashion. KJ Wright graduated in 2010 and it was the job of Lawrence to replace the gap Wright left. He played quarterback, much like McKinney, in high school, and was originally recruited to play defensive back. He converted to a backup linebacker in 2010, and took the starting job in 2011. In his junior and senior seasons, Lawrence accumulated 243 tackles, and was 2nd in the SEC in 2011 and 4th in the SEC in 2012. All of his hard work has started to pay off and he is now a backup linebacker for the Dallas Cowboys.
