MSU Baseball Opening Weekend Weather Forecast

It’s that time of the year again. The start of baseball season is here, and that means more weather forecasts for those of you going to the games. This weekend’s slate of games includes two contests against both Cincinnati and Miami (OH). The games have been rescheduled in order to give the fans a little bit more comfortable environment to watch the game. Now we have usually dealt with bitterly cold temperatures to start off our baseball seasons. Sadly, I feel like we are going to have more of the same.

Now the game times are set, so that means we know our forecast periods. Friday, the game vs. Cincinnati is scheduled for a 4:00 PM CST first pitch. Saturday’s doubleheader will start at noon, while Sunday’s closer will start at 1:30 PM CST. All games will be at Dudy Noble Field, which means Left Field Lounge will be fired up and cookin’ for everyone.

Now what does this all mean? Simple…Saturday is the best day to watch some MSU baseball this weekend. But, you’ll still need to pack the jacket as it will still be a little cold with that North component of the wind. Which is bad news for home runs, but good news for our pitching staff.
