Number 6: The UAB Blazers

The UAB Blazers have been one of the worst teams in college football over the past few years. The one thing about the Blazers is that they have always put up more of a fight against the Bulldogs than we often expect them to. In 2010, they actually almost ruined a really good 8-4 season with an upset. They had real chance to pull the upset against the Bulldogs that year but ended up coming up just a bit short. In 2011, our offense was doing nothing, which was surprising since the Blazers had a terrible defense that year. Tyler Russell was inserted into the game that year after halftime and the Bulldogs proceeded to pull away after that move was made. Can we expect the same thing to happen this year?

Upset Chance: 3-5% This team is one of the worst in college football, and they don’t really project to be anything better than that this year. If you are UAB, the best you can really hope for is what you have done the previous two times that you played the Bulldogs and that is give them a good fight. They might be able to do that, but I don’t think they will be able to keep it up for four quarters.
