Florida is Qui-Gon Jinn
When Episode 1 starts and we meet Qui-Gon Jinn, we expect great things from him. He is after all, the man who would turn Obi Wan Kenobi into the Jedi Master that we all know and love. But his character never really lives up to his potential. He walks around stoically and seems unmoved by much of anything. You know that he has obviously done great things in the past or the Jedi Council wouldn’t be relying on him so much. In the end, he takes a light saber to the gut and winds up as one of the more disappointing characters in the Star Wars universe.
The Florida Gators were turned into one of the best teams in the SEC by Steve Spurrier, but they are all hope and no substance now. Will Muschamp has taken a team that was once known for its offensive prowess and turned it into one of the most painful teams to watch. Many expect them to be better this year, but 7-5 or 6-6 seems about all they will muster to me.
