Dak is a DARK HORSE Candidate

Let’s be very clear: Dak has always been talked about as a Dark Horse candidate. It’s a shame that I have to put this in response to a reporter of the largest paper in the state of Mississippi. Kellenberger seems to think that anyone who says Dak could be a Heisman candidate thinks he is going to be among the favorites. No one has ever said or thought that. The conversation has always been about if you are looking for a guy who might come out of nowhere and surprise people, then Dak Prescott is a pretty good player to consider.

This is also why no one at Mississippi State is going around trying to start an official campaign. It’s a long shot at best, but it is still a shot. I also think most Mississippi State fans feel this way as well. Just because they use the hashtag #Dak4Heisman doesn’t mean they believe he is going to win it, but they would like for him to be considered. There are probably some MSU fans who believe he will and can’t be convinced otherwise, but that is what makes being a fan fun. You can have seriously high expectations of your team and players, and if they come through for you, you can say I told you so to all those who doubted.

I wanted to get that straight before I dove into why he can win the Heisman.
