Predictions for Mississippi State football vs Georgia Bulldogs

Mississippi State football comes off the bye and is faced with the arduous task of going on the road against the 5th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs. It's been a year for upsets in college football. Do we think State has any shot of continuing that trend this weekend?

Chase: Georgia is a caged animal ready to be let out, and unfortunately for Mississippi State, this will be the game it happens. Georgia has not played to their standards, and they know that. Their offense will finally break through and be a problem for State’s defense. Mississippi State loses 35-10

Reed: Georgia for most of the game looked lack luster versus Auburn before they pulled away. All season, they seemed to lack explosive plays like they used to have under Stetson Bennett. Their superior talent will carry them to victory, but I do believe Lebby will use the same gameplan to help put his players in position to win. Georiga wins 34-16

Andrew: I think State can have it competitive for about a half, but that's it. Georgia is just too good on both sides of the ball to expect anything other than a lopsided final score. Mississippi State loses 41-17
