We've reached Week 12 of the 2024 college football season. Mississippi State football is on a bye week, allowing Bulldog fans to briefly forgot the agony that comes with watching them play and simply enjoy games elsewhere.

The problem with that is this week's slate is not great. There are definitely some notable matchups, and I'm sure we'll have plenty of exciting finishes. "Bad" weeks of college football are still good. But we don't have much in terms of appointment television.

That's alright though. We're all still going to watch. And here at Maroon and White Nation, we're going to attempt to predict what happens in the biggest games of the weekend, as we've done all season long. Here are our team member's records through 11 weeks...

Chase Brumfield: 66-44

Reed Green: 66-44

Andrew Miller: 70-40

Let's make some picks!

College football predictions for Week 12

Bowl-eligibility and playoff hopes are on the line in these matchups. Here's how we see them playing out...

UCLA at Washington

Chase: Former Mississippi State quarterback Will Rogers will guide the Huskies to a Week 12 win. UCLA is a dumpster fire with no solution. I see Washington winning this game without much hiccup. Washington wins

Reed: Washington is better coached, more talented, and they have a significant
home field advantage. Washington wins

Andrew: UCLA has turned things around, winning three-straight to give themselves a chance at pushing for a bowl. Washington meanwhile has lost three out of four, getting blown out in those games (including a blowout at the hands of a team UCLA beat). The Huskies basically must win to go bowling, but I don't think they do. UCLA wins

20 Clemson at Pitt

Chase: Pittsburgh’s loss last week gives me much indication of where this weekend’s game is going. Clemson played well against Virginia Tech and is finding their rhythm at the right time. Clemson wins

Reed: I believe that Clemson showed some fight and mental toughness at Virginia
Tech last week, and I think that will carry over this week. Also, Pitt could be in for a
letdown after losing last week. Clemson wins

Andrew: Clemson righted the ship against Virginia Tech while Pitt has fallen-off. I'll take the better team. Clemson wins

25 Tulane at Navy

Chase: Tulane has played phenomenally, but the problem is Navy's offense may be too complex to stop. I am curious to see what Tulane does to counteract Navy's triple option. Navy wins

Reed: The Green Wave are starting to play their best football at the right time, and they
have a vulnerable Navy team in their sights. The difference here will be the play from the
skill position players for Tulane. Tulane wins

Andrew: They aren't getting much attention, but Tulane has been murdering teams throughout AAC play. The same was previously said for Navy, but the Midshipmen seem to have looked more good than great lately. Tulane wins
